DeFi on NEAR is Changing Forever: Introducing $RHEA
The landscape of decentralized finance (DeFi) on NEAR is evolving, and at the heart of this transformation is $RHEA — a token designed to unify and enhance the ecosystem. But what exactly does this mean for users? Let’s break it down.
What is RHEA?
$RHEA consolidates the functionality of Ref Finance and Burrow into a single token. This integration enables seamless trading, lending, borrowing, staking, and farming across the NEAR ecosystem. More importantly, it deepens liquidity pools and advances chain abstraction, making it easier than ever to swap and trade blue-chip assets from BTC, EVM, and SOL and more.
Unlocking RHEA’s Utility System
The RHEA ecosystem introduces three distinct tokens, each playing a crucial role:
- RHEA: The primary ecosystem token, unlocking full platform functionality.
- xRHEA: A staked version of RHEA, used for transaction fees and gas payments, offering additional incentives.
- oRHEA: A reward token distributed to platform participants, which can be converted into RHEA or xRHEA based on a reputation system.
Airdrop & Tokenomics
To ensure a smooth transition and reward early adopters, RHEA Finance has designed a conversion mechanism and airdrop system:
- For existing users: Holders of $BRRR and $REF will be able to convert their tokens into RHEA.
- For airdrop: A 10% airdrop of the total RHEA supply will be distributed to actively participating users.
