Introducing the $RHEA Token Design and Ref/BRRR Conversion Plan
We’re excited to introduce the $RHEA token design — a system that unifies yield, utility, and long-term participation under a streamlined and reputation-driven model.
The $RHEA Token Ecosystem
The Rhea platform will operate using a three-token structure:
RHEA — The Core Token
The foundational asset of the Rhea ecosystem. All utility and value originate from RHEA.
xRHEA — Staked and Spendable
Users can stake RHEA to receive xRHEA.
xRHEA unlocks deeper protocol utility:
- Earn passive yield — by staking RHEA
- Build on-chain reputation by holding xRHEA
- Use as gas for transactions in the Rhea ecosystem
- Supply xRHEA as collateral and boost yield
oRHEA — The Incentive and Reward Token
oRHEA will be the core asset in the incentive mechanism:
- Earned through farming, lending, and other protocol activities
- Convertible to RHEA or xRHEA at user discretion
- Conversion rate is based on your reputation score
- Maximum conversion ratio is 1:1
- Distributed seasonally, backed by a capped RHEA reward pool
- RHEA Points will evolve into oRHEA post-TGE, becoming the basis for future rewards
Ref & BRRR Conversion to RHEA
With the new model, Ref and BRRR will be retired:
- Ref: Will be phased out and converted into RHEA.
- BRRR: The yield boosting role of BRRR will be replaced by xRHEA. A final snapshot and conversion plan will be announced.
- Detailed conversion mechanics and snapshot timelines will be communicated shortly.
Why This Matters
This new token model is designed to:
- Simplify the token economy
- Align incentives between users and protocol growth
- Encourage active, long-term engagement through staking and reputation
- Easily manage liquidity and expand utility in a better manner from time to time, and not operate at a loss
This is a major step forward for the Rhea ecosystem and lays the groundwork for a more sustainable, composable DeFi future.
